Well-Being Walk (Fringe Week)

Buckingham Town Council and the University of Buckingham have teamed up again to host a Wellbeing Walk on Sunday 25th July.

Everyone is invited to walk the published route around the town, taking in the sights and thinking about what more can be done to ensure good mental health and wellbeing for everybody.

The walk will start from outside the Council Chamber at 11.30 am and will finish at around 1.30 pm by the Tanlaw Mill.

Colouring In Competition

This year, local Solicitors Gilroy Steel are running a Colouring In Competition and the first prize is £20! All winners’ entries will also be displayed in their shop window.

The competition runs from Thursday 1st July – Friday 25th July and the lucky winners will be notified by Wednesday 28th July.

Colouring in pages can be collected from Gilroy Steel Solicitors. Once you are finished creating your masterpiece, return your sheet with contact details on the back to 3 High Street, Buckingham, MK18 1NT. Alternatively, you can download them from their website.

Music NOT in the Market (Fringe Week)

For one time only, Music in the Market has moved to Buckingham Rugby Club and become part of the Buckingham Fringe Week.

This event has been organised by the Buckingham Acoustic Club and supported by Buckingham Town Council and Buckingham Rugby Club.

Live Acoustic Music with the Buckingham Acoustic Club (Fringe Week)

The Buckingham Acoustic Club has been around for well over 15 years, creating great music and atmospheres!

The Club runs an Open Mic night in the front room of the Woolpack pub every Thursday night, with live music from 8:30pm.They showcase a hugely diverse range of performers from local songwriters just starting out to semi-professional guitarists and singers.

The Oxford Fiddle Group (Fringe Week)

The ever popular Oxford Fiddle Group is returning to Buckingham again for this years Fringe Week.

The Oxford Fiddle Group perform songs and tunes mainly from England and Scotland, but also from Ireland and the United States of America. A typical line up of one of their performances could include celtic harp, double bass, guitar, mandolin, concertina and the obvious, fiddles!

Tickets are £6 and are available from the Buckingham Tourist Information Centre which is located inside The Old Gaol, Market Hill, Buckingham, MK18 1JX.
