Buckingham Live returned in style on Sunday 24th May, drawing enthusiastic crowds and filling the park with music, energy, and celebration. Despite soaring temperatures, festivalgoers turned out in impressive numbers, creating a vibrant atmosphere and making the event a resounding success.
A diverse and dynamic line-up showcased an incredible range of talent, featuring performances from Andrew Wiltshire, Gallows Fair, The DholShow, Blend Choir, Malish Band, Inca Tern, Miles Nottage, CrazyHeart, Adam O’Connell Band ft. Mari Evans, The Toucans, and Jenny & Purple Roses. Each act brought its own unique sound and energy, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Beyond the music, the festival offered plenty of interactive entertainment. Attendees took part in a lively DanceFit session with Alison Firstdance Pilates, and a fun air guitar competition which had the audience cheering.
Families and visitors of all ages enjoyed the wide variety of attractions on offer, including a bouncy castle, a tempting selection of food vendors, and both indoor and outdoor bar areas that kept everyone refreshed throughout the day.
With another successful year completed, Buckingham Live continues to establish itself as a must-attend event, bringing the community together through the power of live music and shared experience.
Cllr. Robin Stuchbury, Chair of the Town Centre and Events Committee, said:
We would like to extend a large thank you to Suzy from Buckingham Live, Buckingham Football Club for their cooperation, and thanks to all the staff who were there from the start until late – without this commitment the event would not be possible. Thanks go to the traders who provided wonderful food and drink and most importantly we hope that everyone who attended enjoyed themselves. The Town Centre and Events Committee strongly support this type of event which brings the community together in North Buckinghamshire in a shared free activity.
