Buckingham Town Council, in partnership with Throw Back Vintage (@throw_back_vintage), is excited to launch a photography competition for young people aged 13–17.
This is your chance to showcase your creativity, tell Buckingham’s story through your lens, and see your work celebrated across the town.
We’re inviting you to capture places, people, or moments in Buckingham that reflect the town’s heritage, community spirit, and hopes for the future.
Inspired by Throw Back Vintage’s ethos “Wear the past, save the future”, we encourage you to explore ideas of:
- Heritage – the history and traditions of our town.
- Sustainability – celebrating and valuing what we already have.
- Community spirit – the people and connections that make Buckingham unique
The winner will receive a £40 Throw Back Vintage voucher to be spent in store.
The closing date is 30th September. All entries will be reviewed by the Mayor of Buckingham, who will select the winner.
How to enter:
- Take a photo that fits the theme.
- Email it to engagementofficer@buckingham-tc.gov
- Include your completed entry form (attached below).
- Submit your entry as a digital file.
👉 All work must be original and created by the entrant.
