Buckingham Town Council is inviting residents and business owners to attend the Annual Town Meeting on Thursday, 26th March 2026, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Buckingham Community Centre.
Continuing the popular informal “drop-in” format used in recent years, this year’s meeting follows the theme “The Future.” The event provides an opportunity for residents to move between themed discussion stations to speak directly with the people and organisations shaping local services.
The hall will host several dedicated discussion tables where attendees can share ideas, ask questions, or get updates on key local issues.
- Health – Representatives from The Swan Practice and the Integrated Neighbourhood Team will share plans and answer questions about the town’s new Health Centre.
- Business & Economy – The Head of Business Support and Skills from Buckinghamshire Business First (BBF) will be available to discuss the local economy and business growth.
- Environment – Experts from the Environment Agency will be on hand to discuss their work.
- Policing – Meet representatives from your local police team.
- Community – Connect with the North Bucks Community Board to learn about local projects.
- Town Council – Speak with Town Councillors who chair the Council’s committees, alongside a Town Council representative providing updates on the new cemetery and allotments.
- Callum Anderson MP will also be in attendance
In addition to the discussion tables, several local organisations and charities will be showcasing their services, including:
- The Buckingham Clothing Bank
- The Family Hub
- The Old Gaol Museum
- The Buckingham Canal Society
This is a great opportunity for the community to come together in an informal and welcoming setting.
Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the event. All members of the public are welcome to drop in at any time between 6:00pm and 8:00pm.
