Full Time 37 Hours per week
SCP 33-36: £41,418 – £44,428 pay award pending
Based at Town Council Offices, Buckingham.

Buckingham Town Council is seeking to appoint a proactive Deputy Town Clerk, to deputise for the Town Clerk as required and who will work collaboratively with councillors, partners and the public to deliver events, activities and projects.

The post includes some evening and weekend work and attendance of functions and events. A flexible attitude to work is essential, as is a friendly and positive outlook.  In return we offer a happy working environment with excellent training and development.  Some hybrid working will be considered.

The successful applicant would be expected to have or be prepared to pass the CILCA qualification and must be computer literate, with good communication skills both written and verbal.  The applicant should be an experienced manager and comfortable leading a team unsupervised.

Interviews will take place on the 11th of June and applicants will be asked to deliver a 10 minute presentation on a project or activity they have delivered.
