Deputy Town Clerk

Based at Town Council Offices, Buckingham

37 Hours per week

SCP 33-36 (£37,568 - £40,578) depending on experience

Buckingham Town Council is seeking to appoint a forward thinking and proactive Deputy Town Clerk to assist the Town Clerk in the managerial, financial and administrative operation of the Council.

Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in finance, personnel or administration. The post includes some evening and weekend work and attendance of functions and events. A flexible attitude to work is essential, as is a friendly and positive outlook.

The successful applicant would be expected to have or be prepared to obtain CiLCA and must be computer literate, with good communication skills both written and verbal.
