At Buckingham’s annual Food Fair, in February, there was a public contest to discover our attendees’ absolute favourite dishes from Buckingham restaurants. After over 300 entries, we picked the top five most voted for dishes.
The Buckingham Food Fair 2022 recommended venues and dishes are:
- Prego with Diavolo Goats Cheese Pizza
- BINNs with Chicken Wings
- Dipalee Lounge with Chicken Tikka Masala
- Black Pepper with Grilled Chicken Wraps
- Cornwall Place Kitchen with Gammon, Cheese & Bacon Jam Toastie.
The Mayor of Buckingham, Cllr. Margaret Gateley visited all five venues to meet the creative teams and congratulate them with certificates of achievement to display. A huge well done to all the winners and food venues in Buckingham whose tasty and memorable food helps give Buckingham its well-deserved reputation as a local foodie destination.
Cllr. Gateley told us that “It was a delight to present certificates to the 5 restaurants in town chosen by visitors to the Food Fair as their favourite. Each nomination included a favourite dish, each one a mouth-watering option.”
