The Natural Environment and Climate Champion award is presented each year in recognition of a person, organisation or business, with a local link, that has actively tried to tackle climate change and or enhance the natural environment.
| 2026 | Jayne Wise | In recognition of the work in setting up the Buckingham Wombles group and the tireless litter-picking around the town. |
| 2025 | Buckingham Repair Café | In recognition of establishing themselves as a core event in Buckingham, repairing a wide range of items and therefore enabling re-use, a core environmental tenet. |
| 2024 | Mr. Leszek Czukbowski | In recognition of the wonderful job and hard work undertaken to keep Buckingham clean and tidy. |
| 2023 | The Canal Society | In recognition of the years of service to improve and renovate the canal. |
| 2022 | The Railway Walk Volunteers Group | In recognition of the exceptional and outstanding contribution to the local community through protecting and enhancing the environment. |
| 2021 | Stowe Sub Aqua Club | In recognition of their continued support of the annual river rinses. |
