Transport for Buckinghamshire will be undertaking highway maintenance road treatment works to the carriageway of Stowe Avenue, Stowe from the A422 to just beyond the Bufflers Holt turn. This work is being undertaken to improve the condition of the road in order to prolong its life and involves resurfacing works to the carriageway.
The works here are scheduled to commence from the 13th March 2019 and it is anticipated they will take up to 9 shifts to complete. No work will be carried out over the weekends. Information signs will be erected on site prior to commencement of the works, giving the actual dates and durations. You will appreciate that works of this nature are extremely weather dependant and therefore may be subject to disruption due to inclement weather. If the works are delayed, the advance information signs on site will be updated to reflect any change in dates.
Work from just before the entrance to Stowe Gardens up to and including the Chackmore junction will be carried out overnight on Wednesday 13th, Thursday 14th and Friday 15th March 2019 under a road closure in operation between 7pm and 7am each night.
No work will be carried out over the weekend.
From Monday 18th March a shortened road closure will be in operation between the A422 to just before the Chackmore junction. This closure will be in operation between 7am and 7pm.
