Remember, Remember the 5th of November

Buckingham’s annual Bonfire & Firework event will be taking place on Saturday 5th November in the paddock in Bourton Park.

The evening starts at 6pm with an ambient LED performance by Cassia Chloe. This will be followed by a spectacular firework display by Titanium Fireworks at 7pm. Councillor Andy Mahi will be leading the torchlight procession again with the mayor to light the bonfire and we have put on additional entertainment, including a fire cirque performance!

There will be fairground games such as coconut shy courtesy of Aylesbury Rodeo Hire, have your face painted by George Grenville Academy PTA. Food vendors are Tribal Chilli who will be serving pizza, burgers, hotdogs and donuts from J & L Snacks, sweets, toffee apples and candy floss and Silverstone Brewery will be providing a licensed mobile bar.

Buckingham Town Council ask that you do not bring sparklers to the event.

This free event is organised by Buckingham Town Council. Councillor Robin Stuchbury, Chair of the Town Centre & Events Committee said “Buckingham Town Council’s Event Committee are looking forward to putting on the fireworks again this year. This is a great and popular community event. Originally the event was organised to allow people to attend a safely managed public event saving families from purchasing fireworks, which will be particularly important this year due to the rising cost of living.”
