Buckingham Play Days

The summer holidays are almost upon us, and many parents and guardians will be looking for something local and free to take their children to.

Provided by MK Play Association and fully funded by Buckingham Town Council Buckingham Play Days will be taking place in Chandos Park on Monday 24th July, Tuesday 8th August and Tuesday 22nd August from 10:30am until 3:30pm.

Originally known as Play Around the Parishes, these free turn-up and play sessions will be just as much fun as they were in the past with the same fantastic activities and games.  Aimed at children up to the age of 12 years, there will be arts and crafts, a bouncy castle, giant games, scrap play, sensory play and more.  The sessions are run by a fully dedicated, creative, and friendly team.

Chair of the Town Centre & Events Committee Cllr Robin Stuchbury “It is wonderful that the events committee on behalf of the town council have continued funding Buckingham Play Days this year. The committee was conscious that parents need more than ever somewhere they can take their children throughout the summer without having to pay as the cost of living has gone up so much.  Buckingham Town Council know how much this scheme means,  which is completely funded from within the precept and budgets of the Town Centre and Events committee, and would like to thank the officers for their time in coordinating these matters on behalf of our community of  young families who I am  sure will see this as a positive thing and take full advantage of the Buckingham play scheme throughout the summer.”
