FREE Event – Coaching, Competitions, and Demos for Ages 8+
Bridge Street Skatepark is the place to be this summer! Join us on Saturday 16th August 2025 from 11am to 4pm for a completely free day of action-packed fun at the Skate Jam Competitions – open to anyone aged 8 and up.
We’re excited to welcome Team Rubicon, the UK’s leading provider of skateboard, BMX, and scooter coaching, who’ll be bringing their energy and expertise to the park for an unforgettable day!
🛹 Schedule of the Day:
11am – 12pm: Open skateboard, BMX, and scooter coaching for all ages – perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to build their skills.
12pm – 4pm: Skate Jam Competitions featuring skateboarding, BMX, and scooters – open to anyone aged 8 and up, with fantastic prizes to be won!
There’ll also be live demonstrations from professional scooter riders, skateboarders, and BMXers – expect big tricks, good vibes, and loads of inspiration.
So grab your helmet, bring your friends, and come join us for a day of fun, learning, and friendly competition. Whether you’re riding or spectating, it’s set to be a brilliant day – and it’s all completely free!

Cllr Donoghue states – I’m really looking forward to being the lead councillor for this fantastic free event, which has been organised especially for the young people of Buckingham. Team Rubicon are set to deliver incredible demonstrations and displays, along with engaging and informative workshops on scooters, BMXs and skateboards. I can’t wait to watch the competitions and the prize-giving – it promises to be a fun-filled day for everyone involved.
