Art in the Market returns to the cattle pens area of Buckingham High Street over half term, on Tuesday 25th October, from 1 to 4pm. Come along to create art amongst professional and amateur local artists, free art materials available to anyone – young or old – who wants to have a go! For more seasoned artists there’s plenty of space to bring your own easels and art kit and enjoy the creative atmosphere.
Art in the Market: Autumn will also feature a photography challenge, for anyone up for trying some experimental tasks to hone their camera skills. All the challenges are achievable with a phone camera as well as traditional photography.
Councillor Robin Stuchbury, Chair of the Town Centre & Events Committee said “We’re really pleased to be revisiting Art in the Market again this year, having been so successful with young and old coming to explore art as a hobby in the summer. It’s always fascinating and encouraging to see how artistic our community is, given the opportunity. We look forward to seeing everyone back in Buckingham for this event again!”
