Buckingham’s Annual Town Meeting
March 26 @ 18:00 – 20:00
The Buckingham Town Council invites all residents and business owners to join us for the 2026 Annual Town Meeting. This is an informal interactive evening which is not structured round a formal agenda.
What to Expect:
The hall will be arranged into several Discussion Tables, each hosted by representatives from the organisations that help our town run every day. This is an informal space where you can drop in, grab a coffee or tea and a biscuit, and speak directly with the people shaping our local services.
Confirmed Discussion Tables
We are pleased to announce that the following partners will be hosting tables to discuss their work and hear your views:
- Health: Meet The Swan Practice and the Integrated Neighbourhood Team (INT) to see the latest plans and get updates on Buckingham’s new Health Centre.
- Ask Your Town Council: Speak with representatives from Buckingham Town Council.
- Police: Meet with Thames Valley Police to discuss local policing and safety in our community.
- Environment: Come and meet the experts from the Environment Agency who will be on hand to discuss their work.
- Local Economy & Skills: Meet the Head of Business Support from Buckinghamshire Business First (BBF).
- Community: Connect with the North Bucks Community Board and find out how they support local projects and fund initiatives across the region.
- Callum Anderson MP: Hear directly from our MP and ask questions about local matters
Community Stalls
In addition to the discussion tables, you can browse stalls from local charities and community groups. It is a fantastic opportunity to see the incredible work happening right now in Buckingham. Confirmed stalls include:
- The Buckingham Clothing Bank
- The Family Hub
- The Old Gaol Museum
- The Buckingham Canal Society
- Citizens Advice
- A representative from Buckingham Town Council will be on hand to talk about the new cemetery and allotments.
- Councillors who chair our various committees will be available to discuss the work of their committees, and what they have acheived over the last year.
