Buckingham’s Annual Town Meeting

This year’s Annual Town Meeting is on Thursday 23rd March 2022 @ 7pm. The meeting will be held in the Buckingham Community Centre and is open to EVERYONE to attend, share ideas and ask questions about how Buckingham could improve now and in the future.

The meeting will have a series of information stalls and six tables, each with different discussion topics. The table discussion will be focused on the following topics:

  • Planning & the future of Buckingham
  • Policing
  • Cost of living
  • The river & green spaces
  • Health
  • Eco matters
  • Other matters

There will also be information stalls from:

  • Police & Crime Commissioner, Matthew Barber & Thames Valley Police
  • Citizens Advice Bucks
  • The Swan Practice
  • Buckingham Equality, Community Diversity & Inclusion Group
  • Project Street Life
  • The four Town Council committees: Resources, Planning, Environment, and Town Centre & Events.

If you would like to speak to your local Buckingham Town Councillor or Buckinghamshire Councillor – or any of our fantastic local representatives do come along to Buckingham’s Annual Town Meeting.

If you aren’t able to attend on the day, you can also submit a written question in advance by email to office@buckingham-tc.gov.uk or by mail to Buckingham Town Council, Verney Close, Buckingham, MK18 1JP. Please indicate in your message that it is a question to be addressed at the Annual Town Meeting.
