Dog lovers, mark your calendars! Buckingham Town Council’s Dog Show returns to Bourton Park Paddock on Saturday 5th September 2026, promising a fantastic day of fun for families and their four-legged friends.
Running from 11am to 3pm, the event will celebrate dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities. Alongside the popular dog show classes, attendees can browse a variety of local stalls, enjoy hot food and treats, and keep younger visitors entertained with face painting and crafts throughout the day.
Dogs will compete for top honours across eight fun categories:
- Cutest Puppy (up to 1 year old)
- Fabulous Fella
- Gorgeous Gal
- Best Rescue
- Dog Most Like Its Owner
- Golden Oldie (7 years and over)
- Waggiest Tail
- Junior Handler (under 16)
Winners from each class will then go forward to compete for the coveted Best in Show title.
Whether you are entering your canine companion, cheering on the competitors, or simply enjoying a day out in the park, the Buckingham Dog Show offers a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the special bond between people and their pets.
