SUMMARY:Pancake Race
DESCRIPTION:The Pancake Race is a long-established event open to everyone and consists of various traditional races. Small prizes will be given to all participants of the children’s races and a small trophy for the winners. The event will be held on the green outside St. Peter and St. Paul’s Church on Thursday 15th February 2024 at 11am. The event is announced by the Town Crier and opened by the Mayor. You can enter the following categories: \n\n\n\nChildren and Teens\n\n\n\n\n5 year olds and under\n\n\n\n6 – 11 year olds\n\n\n\n12 – 17 year olds\n\n\n\n\nAdults\n\n\n\n\nIndividuals\n\n\n\nCommunity and Business Relay Teams\n\n\n\nWalking\n\n\n\n\nNot racing? There will be a pop-up ‘Art on the Green’ stall where you can get creative with pens\, pencils\, watercolours\, and fabrics. Anything you create\, you can take home to show off!
