DESCRIPTION:After a great first event last summer\, Celebrate Buckingham is coming back on Thursday 2nd June 2022 from 11am-3pm in Bourton Park to kick start the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations that the Town Council have organised. \nStalls from local community\, voluntary and social enterprise groups will sit alongside fun activities including a bouncy castle\, bungee run and cadet games. You can even test just how squeamish you are and have a try at maggot racing! There will also be a Jubilee Dress through the Ages contest that you can enter on the day. \nSome great food and drink vendors will be attending so make sure to save plenty of room for lunch: \n\nInstaworthy Grilled Cheese and more: Good Times Cafe\nBurgers and hot dogs: Roo’s Food\nIce cream van: Mark’s Ices\nCoffee\, Tea and hot drinks: Really Awesome Coffee\nDelicious cakes and pastries: Bee’s Cakes\nMobile bar: Pegasus Bar\n\nLive entertainment will include the Buckingham Ukulele Group and Winslow Concert Band. Plenty to keep you warm while you watch the bonfire! \nHuge thanks to local businesses ORN International and HG Timber Ltd who have supplied the wood used for this year’s giant bonfire\, ahead of the fireworks event on Saturday. DESCRIPTION:Organised by Buckingham Town Council.  Buckingham’s 6th annual Dog Show will be held in Bourton Park on Sunday 8th September from 11am – 3pm. Registration starts at 11am and judging from 12 noon. There will be 9 classes including best in show. Prizes will be awarded for each class. Last year saw between 10 and 20 entrants per class. \nThis event is aimed at families and educating dog owners as well as having a fun dog show. The event will be held in the paddock in Bourton Park and this year is sponsored by Vets4Pets\, The Veterinary Centre\, Maids Moreton\, Kimberley Cox Dog Training\, Leaders Letting and Estate Agents and Woofs and Washes. There will also be information stalls from groups such as the local vets and Medical Detection Dogs. \nKimberley Cox Dog training will be organising a Dog Scurry. \n
