This is an informal space where you can drop in\, grab a coffee or tea and a biscuit\, and speak directly with the people shaping our local services. \n\n\n\nConfirmed Discussion Tables\n\n\n\nWe are pleased to announce that the following partners will be hosting tables to discuss their work and hear your views: \n\n\n\n\nHealth: Meet The Swan Practice and the Integrated Neighbourhood Team (INT) to see the latest plans and get updates on Buckingham’s new Health Centre.\n\n\n\nAsk Your Town Council: Speak with representatives from Buckingham Town Council.\n\n\n\nPolice: Meet with Thames Valley Police to discuss local policing and safety in our community.\n\n\n\nEnvironment: Come and meet the experts from the Environment Agency who will be on hand to discuss their work.\n\n\n\nLocal Economy & Skills: Meet the Head of Business Support from Buckinghamshire Business First (BBF).\n\n\n\nCommunity: Connect with the North Bucks Community Board and find out how they support local projects and fund initiatives across the region.\n\n\n\nCallum Anderson MP: Hear directly from our MP and ask questions about local matters\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCommunity Stalls\n\n\n\nIn addition to the discussion tables\, you can browse stalls from local charities and community groups. It is a fantastic opportunity to see the incredible work happening right now in Buckingham. DESCRIPTION:Buckingham Town Council is proud to be coordinating Buckingham’s very first official Pride Week and is inviting local organisations\, businesses\, and community groups to get involved. The initiative was proposed by The King’s Head and aims to bring the community together in celebration of inclusion\, visibility\, and pride across the town. \n\n\n\nIf you are interested in hosting an event during Pride Week\, please get in touch so we can help promote it and include it in the official programme. \n\n\n\nTo mark the beginning of Pride Month\, the Town Council will once again raise the Pride flag on 1 June. We encourage businesses\, organisations\, and residents throughout Buckingham to join in and show their support for an inclusive and welcoming community. \n\n\n\nAnnounced Pride Week Events\n\n\n\nWednesday 3rd June – \n\n\n\n\nFree Yoga Class – 6:00pm at Chandos Park\, hosted by Mental Wellness Retreats\n\n\n\n\nThursday 4th June – \n\n\n\n\nQueer Psychic Night at The Amethyst Studio – FREE \n\n\n\nThe Whale – Pride Talk & Q&A followed by Disco Bingo\n\n\n\n\nFriday 5th June –  \n\n\n\n\nSandy Flaps Drag Show at The Grand Junction Doors open: 7:00pm | Show starts: 7:30pm \n\n\n\nScreening of Pillion at The Film Place – 7:30pm BUY TICKETS HERE – Tickets — Welcome to The Film Place\n\n\n\nKaraoke Night at The Whale\n\n\n\n\nSaturday 6th June –  \n\n\n\n\nPride-Themed Parkrun – 9:00am Dress in rainbow colours and take part in a 5k Pride Walk.
