SUMMARY:Winter Fair at Lace Hill
DESCRIPTION:The Lace Hill Winter Fair is returning on Sunday 1st December 2019. This event is open to all\, so bring the family and join us for a jolly afternoon at Lace Hill Sports & Community Centre. The event starts at 2 pm and finishes at 4 pm. There is free entry for children and £1 per adult. All proceeds go towards this and all future events held at the centre. The aim of the Winter Fair event is to bring the community together in a festive celebration and support local crafters\, groups and businesses. It will be a great opportunity to start some Christmas shopping. \nAdults will enjoy browsing an array of stalls\, children will have fun in the craft room and refreshments will be available to purchase from the youth club. Please do come and support the event\, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at this very special time of year. Buckingham Town Council look forward to welcoming you to the Winter Fair. Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Buckingham Town Council do take photographs at their events and these may be published.

SUMMARY:The Bard of Buckingham - Bardic Trial
DESCRIPTION:The first Buckingham Bardic Trial will be held in the Cote at the rear of The Woolpack pub\, on Tuesday 1 October from 7pm – 9pm.  The event will include the election of Buckingham’s first Bard and Deputy Bard. \nEach potential Bard will be asked to present one piece of relevant to the theme ‘Buckingham’\, which should last a maximum of 5 minutes (less is fine). \nPotential Bards are encouraged to register beforehand\, although it will be possible to just turn up on the night.  It is free to enter; however\, a collection will be made on the night for the Mayor’s charities. If you are interested in taking part in the trial or would like more information contact the Town Clerk on townclerk@buckingham-tc.gov.

DESCRIPTION:Organised by Buckingham Town Council.  Buckingham’s 6th annual Dog Show will be held in Bourton Park on Sunday 8th September from 11am – 3pm. Registration starts at 11am and judging from 12 noon. There will be 9 classes including best in show. Prizes will be awarded for each class. Last year saw between 10 and 20 entrants per class. \nThis event is aimed at families and educating dog owners as well as having a fun dog show. The event will be held in the paddock in Bourton Park and this year is sponsored by Vets4Pets\, The Veterinary Centre\, Maids Moreton\, Kimberley Cox Dog Training\, Leaders Letting and Estate Agents and Woofs and Washes. There will also be information stalls from groups such as the local vets and Medical Detection Dogs. \nKimberley Cox Dog training will be organising a Dog Scurry. \n
