Young people can drop by their local Buckingham basketball courts and train with Coach Jenner\, completely free\, for five Mondays this summer. \nYoung people age 8-12 should attend Chandos Park Multi-use games area from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM \nYoung people aged 13+ should attend Bourton Park Multi-use games area from 6:45 PM to 7:45 PM \nAll equipment is provided. Although the sessions will remain drop-in\, there will be a maximum number of 15 to 20 participants per session in order to comply with Coronavirus restrictions.

DESCRIPTION:Buckingham Town Council and the University of Buckingham have teamed up again to host a Wellbeing Walk on Sunday 25th July. \nEveryone is invited to walk the published route around the town\, taking in the sights and thinking about what more can be done to ensure good mental health and wellbeing for everybody. \nThe walk will start from outside the Council Chamber at 11.30 am however\, please arrive by 11am and await instructions. DESCRIPTION:FREE ENTRY!! \nBuckingham Online Dog Show is now live\, get your entries in!\nOur annual dog show is not able to go head as usual this year due to restrictions on running events\, so we have adapted it to work from a distance! \nIt couldn’t be simpler to enter.\nAll you need to do is send us your photos by email: events@buckingham-tc.gov.uk Tell us your name and your dog’s name\, the class you’re entering and include a valid email address.  Unfortunately\, submissions via Facebook will not count. \nYou may enter as many classes as you want but it must be a different photo each time.\nClasses are:\n– Cutest Pup (6-12 months)\n– Fabulous Fella\n– Gorgeous Gal\n– Best Rescue (a class for rescue dogs only)\n– Dog Most Like its Owner (a photo of you and your dog/over 18’s only)\n– Golden Oldie (7 years and above)\n– Public’s Favourite\n– Best in Show\n(the winner of each class will go through to this class and be judged by Buckingham’s Mayor Cllr Geraldine Collins). \nClosing date for all entries is by 12 noon Friday 4th September 2020. Then throughout the following week commencing 7th September we will share entries and announce the winners. All winners 1st\, 2nd\, 3rd\, will receive a prize and a PDF certificate. The judges this year are Kimberly Cox Dog Training School\, Cllr Lisa O’Donoghue and the Mayor of Buckingham Cllr Geraldine Collins and YOU! \nPlease note that photos submitted to us will be published by Buckingham Town Council.
