Green Fingered Social Enterprise – Make Money Mowing

A Buckingham-based social enterprise will be working with the Town Council to help maintain the town’s housing estates’ greenspaces and roadside verges. The initiative, set up in 2017, provides grass cutting services that complement the existing maintenance schedule of Buckingham Town Council’s Greenspaces Team.

The social enterprise is open to anyone aged 16+, to  learn about aspects of grounds maintenance from grass cutting and weeding as well as the essential health and safety and customer service skills necessary to undertake the variety of jobs required by the Town Council.

Chair of Environment Committee, Cllr. Warren Whyte said: “this is an excellent initiative to open opportunities to people over 16 that may be interested in supporting their community and to learn more about grounds maintenance. I’d encourage anyone looking to for some additional work and experience to consider applying”
